Meet Muse Review 2026: The AI Companion Club Built Around Video Calls

Most AI girlfriend platforms in 2026 are competing on breadth. More characters, more generation credits, more modes, more everything. Meet Muse goes the other way. It is a small, curated club of AI companions with one feature it clearly cares about, and the honest question for anyone considering it is whether that one feature is the one you wanted.

What Meet Muse actually is

Meet Muse lives at meetmuse.vip and describes itself as an adult entertainment simulation platform. You sign up free, you browse a roster of roughly twenty five AI Muses, and then you chat with them, get voice replies back, and start live HD video calls with them. The roster instead of a creator

Live Muses, the reason to be here

The Live Muses page is where the platform makes its case. It is a grid of around twenty five companions, all marked LIVE and HD, all showing READY TO CALL. You tap one and you are in a private video call.

Chat and voice

Chat quality sits in a comfortable middle. The site states its chat algorithms are configured to remain fully uncensored and highly responsive, and that matches what actually happens. Conversations do not stall, you do not get the mid scene refusal that ruins the experience on filtered platforms, and characters stay in voice.

This is where you need to pay attention, because Meet Muse charges you in two separate ways.

MeetMuse Platinum is $19.99 per 30 days. That covers Platinum interactive chat access on a fair use basis, one daily SFW selfie, access to the member areas and available Muse features, and 50 welcome tokens the first time you activate it. Renewals do not repeat the welcome tokens.

Muse Tokens are the second bill. They are the site's virtual balance for eligible premium experiences and digital content, and they come in four packs: Starter at 100 tokens for $9.99, Popular at 275 tokens for $24.99, Executive at 600 tokens for $49.99, and Elite at 1,300 tokens for $99.99. Tokens attach to your account and work across supported experiences.

To the site's credit, it says plainly and repeatedly that token purchases are never required and that Platinum and tokens are separate purchases. That is more transparency than this category usually offers. But the practical effect is still that $19.99 is a floor and not a ceiling, and how much Meet Muse actually costs you per month depends on how often you unlock things. If you are the kind of person who unlocks a lot, budget accordingly.

The free tier is real, and small. You can join without a card, see every Muse and take a demo video call. It is enough to evaluate the platform, which is exactly what it should be.

What is missing

No image generation. This is the single biggest gap and the main reason the score is where it is. One SFW selfie a day is a nice touch and it is not a substitute for a platform where you can generate the images you want. Competing platforms at a similar price point ship full uncensored image generators.

No character creation, as covered above. No anime option at all. No male companions that I could find, the roster is entirely female. And the roster itself is small, twenty five or so companions where the bigger platforms carry hundreds.

Meet Muse is more open about its operator than almost anything else in this category. The site claims chat records are heavily encrypted, automated and strictly anonymised, and that no logs are sold or shared with third party sites. That is a claim, not something I can independently verify, but the general posture is more credible than the shell company setups that are common here.

On the billing descriptor: charges appear as Luna Trust Technologies LLC, Albuquerque, NM. That is discreet in the sense that nobody reading your statement sees the words Meet Muse.

How it compares

Against a platform like Candy AI or Secrets AI, Meet Muse is smaller in almost every dimension except the video call experience, and it is more expensive per month than the entry tiers there. Against the pure video generation tools, it is a different product entirely, those generate clips and this one calls you back in real time.

The clearest way to put it: if you ranked what you want from an AI companion and live video calling is in your top two, Meet Muse deserves a look. If it is in your bottom two, there is nothing here that a larger platform does not do better.

Buy Platinum if the calls are the appeal. $19.99 for thirty days of uncensored chat, voice replies and unlimited access to a roster of companions you can call is fair, and the free demo means you can check that the calls actually land for you before you commit.

Skip it if you want to generate images, build your own companion, or explore anime. Those are not partial gaps on this platform, they are absent.

The rating

7 out of 10. The video calling works and the free demo before you pay is genuinely consumer friendly. The chat is properly uncensored and the site is fast, clean and unusually honest about who runs it and what things cost. It loses points for having no image generation, no character creator and a small roster, and for a two part price structure where the $19.99 membership is only the starting figure. It is a focused product that does one thing well, and you should only pay for it if that one thing is what you came for.
