Henx.ai doesn't try to sell you on one flagship girlfriend. It sells you a roster: close to 30 pre-made personas out of the gate, each with a name, an age, a flag and a one-line hook, running from familiar tropes (the ex who won't let go, the coworker who's supposed to be off-limits) to a couple of outright fantasy characters, elf included. Browsing it feels less like meeting a companion and more like scrolling a casting sheet, which is exactly the point if variety is what you're after.

What separates it from most of the girlfriend-app pack is how much of that roster is built around real content rather than just chat. Every persona has a photo gallery and a "Shorts" tab of short-form video, both photorealistic and explicit by default, with no SFW mode to opt into instead. On top of that sits "See Me Live," a cam-style interactive layer that pushes the format closer to a live-cam site than a chatbot.

A roster, not a single companion

The Playmates grid is the first thing you see, and it sets the tone. Each card is a portrait with a name, an age, a country flag and one line of setup: the best friend's sister, the crazy ex, the CEO's assistant, the dominant boss. The chat is there, but the content is the product, and the "See Me Live" button that floats over every profile is the clearest signal of it. Most girlfriend apps in this bracket ship a gallery of stills and call it a day.

That puts Henx.ai in the same bracket as Darlink AI and SweetDream AI, where character creation is the centerpiece rather than an afterthought bolted onto a fixed roster. It also means the roster size is a starting point rather than a ceiling, which matters more than it sounds once you've clicked through all 30.

Pricing: a token economy under VIP

Henx.ai runs a token economy layered under a VIP membership. VIP costs $9.99 a month with 500 bonus tokens, or $49.99 a year with 3000 bonus tokens, a real 60% saving over paying monthly. Both are billed once and do not auto-renew, and the checkout page states plainly that card details are not stored. Those two details are worth flagging: silent renewals and saved cards are the most common complaints in this category, and Henx.ai has taken the opposite position on both. You can browse and chat a little for free before any of that, with the explicit content and full access sitting behind VIP.

What the token layer does mean is that your monthly fee is not the whole bill. Tokens are spent on generations and live sessions, so heavy use costs more than the sticker price, the same trap Secrets AI's Moments and AmorLink's Sparks set. Budget for it rather than being surprised by it.

Where it doesn't compete

There is no memory system worth mentioning anywhere on the site, and that is the honest limit of what this platform is for. If what you want is one companion who tracks your relationship over months, remembers the argument you had in March and brings it back in June, look at Nomi or Secrets AI instead. Henx.ai is also brand new, so there is no track record on billing, moderation or uptime to lean on yet.

The verdict

Henx.ai's case is breadth and format rather than depth: a lot of personas, real photo and video content per persona, a live-style layer the competition mostly skips, and a builder if none of the pre-made ones fit. The pricing is cheaper than most of the top of this category, the no-auto-renew stance is genuinely user-friendly, and the token economy is the thing to watch. If you want one AI girlfriend who knows you, this is the wrong shelf. If you want a lot of them with explicit content attached, it is a strong one.
