AI Allure Review 2026: The Visual First AI Girlfriend App

I have tested most of the AI girlfriend platforms that launched in the last two years, and they mostly split into two camps. One camp obsesses over chat, memory and roleplay depth, and treats images as an afterthought you unlock with tokens. The other camp is basically an image generator with a chat box stapled to the side. AI Allure sits firmly in the second camp, and what makes it worth reviewing is that it does the second camp properly instead of half heartedly.

What AI Allure actually is

AI Allure is a web based AI companion app. You sign up, you pick a companion from a library of a few hundred characters, or you build your own, and then you chat with her, generate images of her, generate short videos of her, and call her in what the platform calls a Live Room. There is no app store download, everything runs in the browser, and it works fine on a phone.

The tagline on the homepage is "Create Your Dream AI Girl" and the subline lists private chat, deep memory AI, images, video and live rooms. That is an accurate feature list. The order is a little misleading, because in day to day use images and video are the centre of the product and chat is the thing you do between generations.

First hour on the platform

Signing up takes about thirty seconds and does not need a card. You land on a home grid of companion cards, each one with a portrait, a name, a one line hook written in the character's voice, and a live viewer count. It is a small touch but it works. Seeing five hundred people in a room makes the place feel alive in a way that a static directory of profiles never does.

Above the grid there is a filter row with tags like New, Live Room, Girlfriend, Scenario, Casual Friend, Mature, Social, Anime, Boyfriend, Caregiver, Fantasy, Romance and about twenty more. The Boyfriend tag is not a token gesture either, there are proper male companions in the library, which is still rare in this category.

The sidebar is short and tells you what the product thinks matters: Home, Create, Generate, Liked, Media, Updates, Settings, Account. Create and Generate sit at the top, right under Home. That is not an accident.

Image generation, the main event

Image quality is the strongest thing on this platform. On the realistic models, faces stay consistent between generations of the same companion, lighting behaves, and skin has texture instead of the plastic airbrushed look a lot of competitors are still shipping. My hit rate on ordinary prompts was high enough that I stopped rerolling every single attempt, which is not something I can say about most of the field.

Free accounts get SFW generation only. That is a real limitation, not a soft one. If you want explicit output you need a paid plan, and once you have one there is no second gate, no per image charge and no separate NSFW credit pool. You just generate.

Anime is the weaker half. It is present, it works, and it will satisfy you if anime is a side interest. If anime is your main interest there are platforms whose entire render pipeline is tuned for it and you will notice the difference.

AI video, the reason the price is what it is

Video is where AI Allure earns its premium. A lot of companion apps added a video button in the last year and most of them output two seconds of a face blinking. Here you get a proper scene description field, reference based generation where you feed it an existing image of your companion, and multi scene control for longer sequences. The clips come back long enough to actually watch.

The catch is time. Generation is slow on the cheaper plans, and that slowness is precisely what the higher tiers are selling. Pro adds larger batches and parallel jobs, Power pushes you to the front of the queue. If you are going to generate a lot of video, the tier ladder is not upselling you on features you do not need, it is selling you throughput you will actually feel.

Live Rooms

Live Rooms are voice calls with your companion. You open one from a card, the call takes the left side of the screen with her portrait and a call timer, and the normal text chat stays open on the right. You can talk and type in the same session, which sounds trivial and is actually the best design decision on the platform.

Voice quality is good rather than exceptional. The synthesis is clean, the delivery carries some personality, and it avoids the tinny robot problem. What it does not have is the sub second latency that makes a call feel like a real conversation. There is a beat of delay before she answers. You get used to it.

Older reviews of this platform say it has no voice capability at all. That was true a while ago and it is not true now. If you are reading a review that says AI Allure is text and images only, it predates the current version.

Building your own companion

The creator is a three step flow. Step one, female or male, then realistic or anime. Step two, appearance, where you set ethnicity, age, eye colour, hairstyle and body type, with the option to upload reference images for the face. Step three, personality, picked from a trait list that runs from sweet and flirty through to dominant and mean.

It takes about a minute and it is well built. The limitation is depth. You are choosing from lists, not writing a character. There is no free text backstory field, no rules about how she should behave in specific situations, no way to define speech patterns. If character authoring is what you enjoy, this will feel thin. If you just want a companion who looks the way you want and has roughly the right vibe, it is more than enough.

The chat itself

Conversation sits in the solid middle of the category. Characters hold their personality across a session, they stay in scene during roleplay, and they respond to what you actually said rather than generic filler. Response length is adjustable, which I appreciate more than I expected to.

Memory is the honest weak spot. Within a conversation it is fine. Across sessions and across weeks, it does not compete with the platforms that have made long horizon memory their entire pitch. She will remember what you told her tonight. She is not going to surprise you next month by bringing up something you mentioned in passing three weeks ago.

For a platform whose homepage says "deep memory AI" that is a slightly generous claim. It is not a lie, the memory is real and it is better than the bottom of the market, but deep is doing some work in that sentence.

Pricing, and whether it is fair

There are three paid tiers and a free one.

Free gets you into the library, gives you a daily message allowance, one custom companion and SFW image generation. Treat it as a demo. Two or three generations will use up your day.

Starter is $19.90 a month. It removes the caps entirely: unlimited chat, unlimited images, unlimited video, Live Rooms, and uncensored NSFW content. Everything is unlocked, it is just slower and in smaller batches than the tiers above.

Pro is $39.90 a month and is the plan the platform pushes. It adds larger generation batches, parallel jobs and a faster queue, plus unlimited custom companions.

Power is $59.90 a month for the highest priority and the maximum parallel jobs.

Those monthly numbers are high for this category, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. Where it gets reasonable is the yearly option, which roughly halves everything: $9.90, $19.90 and $29.90 a month equivalent. At $9.90 a month, Starter with unlimited image and video generation is genuinely competitive. The cost is committing to a full year up front, and yearly plans do not refund unused months if you leave early.

One practical warning that matters more than people expect: the charge on your bank statement is not discreet. If that is a consideration for you, factor it in before you subscribe.

How it compares

Against Candy AI, AI Allure has better video and Candy has a lower entry price and a broader character library. Against Secrets AI, the image quality is comparable and Secrets has the edge on chat depth. Against the chat first platforms, this is not really a fair comparison in either direction, they are solving different problems.

The honest positioning is this: AI Allure is one of the best AI companion platforms available right now if what you want is to see your companion. It is a mid table option if what you want is to talk to her.

Who should buy it

Buy it if the visual side is the point. If the appeal of an AI girlfriend for you is generating images and short videos of her, calling her instead of typing, and having that all in one clean interface, Starter on yearly billing is a fair deal and Pro is worth it if you generate heavily.

Skip it if you want conversation above everything. If you are here for long roleplay, persistent memory across months, and deeply authored characters, you can spend a third of this and get more of what you actually want somewhere else.

The rating

7 out of 10. The image and video generation is the best thing here and the Live Rooms genuinely work, but the score has to account for what it costs to reach them. Monthly pricing is steep for this category, the free tier is closer to a screenshot than a usable plan, and chat memory does not really live up to the "deep memory AI" line on the homepage. On yearly billing it is a fair deal for the right person. If you go in knowing this is a generation tool with a girlfriend attached, you will be happy with it.
